Free Entry for the public (except for the demonstrations)

Artists are invited to register their interest in advance to participate in our week long Artists in Residence event. Contact us (email to gallery@jcaa.org.au or call us on 9300 3088 Tue-Fri 10am-2pm).

This week long event includes two special demonstrations by Marilyn Hamilton (Collagraphy on 5 Mar at 12.30pm) and Susan Hoy (Hand-made paper on 6 Mar at 12.30pm). We encourage everyone to attend the demonstrations (cost to just attend each demonstration is $10 and we ask that you please register beforehand).

What follows is the programme for the week:

Tuesday 4 March: 9am to 2pm
Registered artists are provided with workspace in the gallery or workshop area. Artists are invited to hang work on the wall behind their workspace. Easels are supplied. Cost for the day is $15 per artist.

Wednesday 5 March: 9am to 4pm
Registered artists are provided with workspace in the gallery or workshop area. Artists are invited to hang work on the wall behind their workspace. Easels are supplied. Artists attend Marilyn Hamilton‘s collagraphic demonstration from 12.30pm to 2pm. Cost for the day is $25 which includes the demonstration.

Thursday 6 March: 9am to 4pm
Registered artists are provided with workspace in the gallery or workshop area. Artists are invited to hang work on the wall behind their workspace. Easels are supplied. Artists attend Susan Hoy‘s hand-made paper demonstration from 12.30pm to 2pm. Cost for the day is $25 which includes the demonstration.

Friday 7 March: 9am to 2pm
Registered artists are provided with workspace in the gallery or workshop area. Artists are invited to hang work on the wall behind their workspace. Easels are supplied. Cost for the day is $15 per artist.

Please bring your own lunch – Subway’s is just around the corner. This is a great opportunity to have an interactive day with other artists in a creative environment.
