Lines and Space

Linear 1 (detail)

Lines and Space is a series of minimalist drawings or visual plays, abstract investigations exploring relationships in between lines, materials, shapes and forms within space. All aspects of display are components in a network of associative meaning.

Sookloll graduated from Curtin University in 2003 from Bachelor of Arts and works in sculpture, drawing, jewellery and installation, creating works influenced by modernism, minimalism, constructivism, and the ready-made.

Artist Talk: Please join the blend(er) Monthly Morning Tea 10 am Friday 1 February. This month will feature Lines and Space with Pauline talking about her current art practice.

Really looking forward to this exhibition. I find Pauline Sookloll’s practice a great exploration of the medium.

  2. Claire says:

Pauline has a delicate and ethereal approach to her work and the artists involvement within the materiality. I am interested to see how this is expressed with this new exhibition and the space of the Blender gallery.

  3. Carolyn says:

Congratulations Pauline! I’m sure it will be a very considered and well executed exhibition. Well worth seeing!
